Chill is a nonprofit learn-to-snowboard program for at-risk, inner-city kids. Each winter, in 14 different cities, we take 170 kids to the slopes once a week for six weeks, and give them everything they need to learn to ride: transportation, lift tickets, lessons, and head-to-toe gear—a total 2210 kids in 2006 alone!
